Fluid are delighted to announce some new promotions and appointments within the company, gearing for the busy year ahead!
Afolabi Spence who has worked with us since 2003, and has been instrumental in helping shape Fluid’s approach to the process of design, has become a Director. Afolabi is passionate about the power of architecture to make a difference. Through competition, research and commission Afolabi has developed a location specific approach to design that reflects the needs and aspirations of communities, families and individuals.
Shanel Spence who has worked with us since 2007, and supported the Directors with initial set-up of sister company Soundings, has also become a Director. She has grown into a key member of the senior team, participating and contributing to the immediate and future planning of the practice.
Amanda Walker who has worked with us since 2008 has been made an Associate Director. Amanda has been responsible for a number of innovative consultation projects with Fluid and sister company Soundings. She brings a creative flair and grounded approach that builds strong relationships and trust with local people and clients alike.
We are also please to announce that the following members of our team have agreed to become associates of the practice:
Yukie Nagasawa, Natasha Lofthouse, Adam Summerfield, Iain Glover, Rowan cole.
Karolina Anielska, Kinga Kobiela, Janet Hall and Kate Honey have all been made Consultation Co-ordinators.
As well as the recent promotions we also welcome Josephine, Shirley, Leonora and Josh to the Fluid team, and Luca to the graphics team.
