James oversees the business functions within Fluid and Soundings. This includes supervising the financial and administrative functions, plus advising on workforce planning and compliance.

James joined the company during a period of extensive change and assisted the management and leadership functions with the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.

James initially graduated with a business degree in 2001 and worked exclusively in the entertainment industry for 20 years. This included companies such as Sony UK, Warner Music International, eOne and Alliance Film. His roles included specialist accountancy, theatrical agent/manager (film/TV), A&R manager, company directorate roles and finally as a director/casting director fora children’s animated series.

Before joining Fluid and Soundings James was a founding director of three SME’s (Williams Bulldog Management, Underdog Talent, International Performer Royalties Group) all of which are still trading successfully today in various countries around the world. He stepped out of the directorate for a sabbatical to study his CIPD Level 7 and to pursue metalwork design and blacksmithing. James finds the most rewarding elements of his role incorporate the skills gained during his yearsas an entrepreneur. Specifically working on developing staff, departments and functions to their full potential.
