Talk at Leicester De Montfort School of Architecture

Steve McAdam and Afolabi Spence gave a talk entitled ‘Home and Away –
a discussion on the nature of dwelling’ referring to various Fluid projects and to ideas drawn from Heidegger, Foucault and others.

The talk looked at different notions of dwelling across private, public sector and volume house building fronts and asked how architects ought to perform when the answers to the question of what buildings and their surrounding landscapes may need to adapt to in the long term, are unknown.
