David Wilson Homes Southern and their partners the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) commissioned Fluid to produce a housing masterplan for land to the north of the former Park Prewett Hospital site in north Basingstoke, Hampshire in 2011.

The housing masterplan for the delivery of up to 600 new homes was granted approval in December 2013. Subsequently a Reserved Matters application for Phase 1 for the construction of 300 dwellings was granted in December 2015.

For the Reserved Matters application Fluid developed a number of innovative housing typologies using David Wilson Homes (Southern) standard house types, and contextually driven bespoke apartment blocks located in the higher density areas of the masterplan.
