Concept design for the provision of a flagship project for key worker accommodation on a site in east London within the boundary of Canning Town Centre and Opportunity Area.

The project formed part of a wide-ranging and integrated series of regeneration strategies covering education, health, crime, housing and digital infrastructure as previously set out in the West Ham and Plaistow New Deal for Communities Delivery Plan by Fluid.

The scheme comprised a modern, high quality, energy efficient, and sustainable housing development of self-contained two-bed, one-bed and studio flats, with live/work units at ground level and a communal roof garden.

Fluid worked with a team comprising structural engineers, Dewhurst Macfarlane and sustainability experts, Fulcrum Consulting.
