Despite the rain Fluid held a series of Culture Mile pop-ups last week with the help of the Year Here fellows. As part of their ‘bootcamp’, the Year Here fellows were introduced to the world of community engagement and placemaking through Soundings / Fluid’s work before going out to the public to get a real feel for it. Some of the fellows will be working on a Soundings project over the next couple of months.
Fluid are delighted to have won an exciting project for Barnet London Borough, the development of a comprehensive strategy for the regeneration of Golders Green Town Centre.
Aligned with Barnet’s objectives for the regeneration of their town centres, Fluid and Soundings have teamed-up to design a solid process to develop transversal vision, strategies, action plans and interventions that will make Golders Green town centre an attractive place again.

Planning submission was granted in January 2016 for the interim use of The Victoria Pub as a start-up kitchen, café and flexible co-making / co-working venue for the local community.

Lend Lease Deptford Ltd (LLD Ltd) appointed Fluid in December 2014 to assist with identifying the 3-year interim use, associated design and management of a community engagement process of The Victoria, Deptford.
From April to July 2015, Fluid’s High Street 2012 Vision project featured in the New London Architecture (NLA) 10th anniversary exhibition; Public London: 10 years of transforming spaces.
As part of the London Festival of Architecture, Fluid curated and hosted an inspirational walk through Loughborough Junction’s to hidden workspaces, meeting makers, doers and creators.
